Today we are going to Muse about the glories of Spring. If this is your first visit, welcome to Musings. If you have been here before, welcome back. Over time we are going to talk about many things: the past, the present, perhaps the future, travel, art, society and more. Wherever my musing takes me. I hope you will come along with me.

Thursday was the first day of spring.  Here in Florida it was warm and balmy.  Augers well for great days to come.

In our yard signs of spring are everywhere.  I’ve had to remove seed pods from several palm trees already.  If they are left on they make a mess, dropping seeds everywhere.  Here is one that just sprouted in the last couple of days.  I’ll have to get after it.

There is a lot of new growth already.  Flowers are coming out.  These are in the front yard

In the front we have a lime tree.  It was covered with flowers a week or so ago.  They are gone now but I can tell we will have a bumper crop of limes this year.  Here you can see some of the future limes.  They are all over the tree.

In fact, the tree is already bearing fruit as you can see here.

Finally we have this orchid.  It was stuck around the side of the house with some pots and planting material.  No one was aware of its glory;  I just came across it by accident.  I brought it out to be enjoyed.

We have had a very mild winter this year unlike much of the country.  This has attracted the people.  Sun and warmth, that is what Florida offers.  I went to the beach yesterday.  This is what I saw.
