Today we are going to Muse more about creativity. If this is your first visit, welcome to Musings. If you have been here before, welcome back. Over time we are going to talk about many things: the past, the present, perhaps the future, travel, art, society and more. Wherever my musing takes me. I hope you will come along with me.button linked to Tribbyart's Boutique     This is the way to Tribbyarts Boutique.  Click on the lion and you will go there.

Those of you who follow my Musing know that we added a new guy, Teddy, to our family two months ago.  Here he is.

He is pretty much a constant companion these days.  Our focus these past weeks has been house training.  Every hour or two going for a walk down the street.  Teddy is getting pretty good.

The process, however, has been distracting.  I have been in an artist funk, not doing much.

A week ago Ellis-Nicholson gallery  which represents me, changed out some of the work being exhibited.  The gallery is in Charleston, SC.  They returned to me several pieces because of storage issues.  UPS delivered to my studio a humongous box containing the art works.

It was the best packed shipment I have ever received.  The paintings were plastic wrapped, bubble wrapped and shielded with Styrofoam, a lot of Styrofoam!  And that has helped jump-start my creative process.

Some years back I acquired this small construction, Let Them Talk.

Let Them Talk

I have always liked it.  In fact, years ago I made a small construction of my own because of it.

I decided to do another and using my Dremel tools began work on a figurine and a dog.

This is where I am at the moment.

But, what to do next?

Well, here came the Styrofoam, a lot of it.

Sparked my imagination.  Why I can build an entire stage!  I’ll let you know what develops.

More to come
