2016 Here We Come

Hello

Today we are going to Muse about bringing in the new year.  If this is your first visit, welcome to Musings. If you have been here before, welcome back. Over time we are going to talk about many things: the past, the present, perhaps the future, travel, art, society and more. Wherever my musing takes me. I hope you will come along with me.

Fine Art America

Fine Art America is producing reproductions of my artwork.  The work is available as traditional prints on canvas, paper or metal, but it also available on greeting cards, phone covers, tote bags, shower curtains,  t-shirts and more.  It makes for some very personalized gifts.  Below is the link to the site.  When you click on an image a menu of products will appear.  I hope you like it.

2016 Here We Come

The New Year was ushered in with a rather fun, odd adventure.  Our friends, Jim and Scott, invited a group of us over for the New Years Eve celebration.  In total there were fourteen of us instructed to be there by 6:45 PM and that we were to bring Hors d’oeuvre,  finger food for a movable feast.  We brought pigs in a blanket and meatballs.

At the appointed hour, a stretch-limousine arrived and we all piled in, and off we went to view the decorated homes in the county that the Palm Beach Post reported were outstanding and creative.

Off we went, drinking and eating.

From time to time we arrived at spectacular celebrations of light.

We discovered that if you wish to do this, you should do this earlier than New Years Eve.  Several of the recommended Christmas Houses had the lights turned off by New Years Eve.  Bummer!  But, still we had a good time.

The Party Goes On

The following day we were off to a wonderful New Years Brunch.  The view was special

and the party was festive and fun.

But there is more.

Saturday and Sunday, January 2nd and 3rd, we competed in the Fusz Cup Invitational Croquet Tournament held at the Everglades Club in Palm Beach.  We nearly made it into the finals.  Lost by one wicket, but it was a fun event and the setting could not be more beautiful.

Now it is time to decompress.  My best wishes to you for the coming year.
