Rafiki Tiki

Hello

Today we are going to Muse about a local spot you have likely never tried.   If this is your first visit, welcome to Musings. If you have been here before, welcome back. Over time we are going to talk about many things: the past, the present, perhaps the future, travel, art, society and more. Wherever my musing takes me. I hope you will come along with me.

EAT YOUR HEART OUT!

Searching for a quiet place, next to the water, not overrun with people, a place with good food and reasonable prices, a place that is laid back and reminds you of Key West?  Hmmm!  We have one right here in Palm Beach County . . . at the Riviera Beach Marina Village waterfront . . the Rafiki Tiki.

I did this painting in the 90’s.  The Marina Village is north of the Palm Beach harbor complex about where the cruise ship on the left is shown, across from Peanut Island.

Jeanette and I went  there for lunch last week and we found the Rafiki Tiki.

It sits facing the Bahamas Paradise Cruise line  ship that sails out of our harbor.

And as you can see, it was definitely NOT overrun with people.  A few people walked by:

Inside the restaurant there were several tables of diners, but it was not crowded.

This was all very pleasant.

But the best was the food!.  We both had the Fish and Chips

fresh and moist.  The best Fish and Chips I have ever had . . . hands down!
